Тулузу образно называют «розовым» городом и столицей фиалок. Поэтому неудивительно, что ежегодно в начале февраля, а именно шестого февраля, в Тулузе проходит двухдневный Фестиваль фиалок. Этот красивый цветок стал эмблемой города Тулузы с 1960 года, и, благодаря славе тулузской фиалки, началось ее широкое промышленное применение в производстве духов, ликера и сладостей. Именно представители данных отраслей и стали инициаторами создания Фестиваля фиалок в 2003 году, который с тех пор стал необыкновенно популярен.
Столица фиалок приглашает участников и гостей со всего мира полюбоваться на цветочные творения и принять участие в различных тематических конференциях. Сотни участников (ученых, ботаников, производителей) из Франции, Италии, Швейцарии, Венгрии, Японии, Китая, Австралии и США собираются в феврале в Тулузе, чтобы поделиться своим опытом. В этом году на фестивале будет участвовать Литва. Литовские ботаники вывели сотни экзотический и уникальных по окрасу и форме сортов фиалок и других не менее красивых цветов. Главным событием фестиваля считается конкурс фиалок, а также проводятся выставки, работает ярмарка цветов и продуктов, проводятся аттракционы, так или иначе связанные с этими красивыми цветами. Компания IKEA, находящаяся в городе Вильнюс, обратилась к логистам VTCW с просьбой доставить цветы в Тулузу на фестиваль, и даже предоставили грузовики. Так что можно отправить своего железного коня на техобслуживание, и в то же время посетить фестиваль.

This year, Lithuania will participate in the festival. Lithuanian botanists bred exotic and unique in colour and varieties of violets and other equally beautiful flowers. The main event of the festival is the competition of violets, exhibitions are held, a fair of flowers and products, attractions, one way or another connected with these beautiful flowers. IKEA, located in the city of Vilnius, turned to VTCW logisticians with a request to deliver flowers to Toulouse for the festival, and even provided trucks. So you can send your iron horse for maintenance and attend the festival at the same time.
