Import controls settings and configuration from a regular profile to a VTC.World profile

 

 

Do the following:

1. Launch the VTC.World client. The game must be closed.
2. Open main => Import Profile Settings
3. Choose what you want to transfer: Importing a configuration, controls settings or all together.
4. Choose the Profile Folder from the desired game (ETS2 or ATS).

Note! You should choose the profile folder from where the settings will be imported.

Do not select a profile starting with 565*********** (this is a VTCWorld profile)

1. Start the VTC.World client. The game must be closed.
2. Open "Windows Explorer",
3. Navigate to the directory "Documents\<Game Folder>\profiles",
4. Locate the directory of the regular profile from which you want to import settings,
5. Copy the file "controls.sii" of controls settings and the configuration files "config.cfg" and "config_local.cfg",
6. Replace the files in the folder "565**************" VTC.World profile on new files,

Attention! Open every migrated file in the editor (Notebook) and save it again.

 

 

Customized gearbox (gearbox):

Do the following:

1. In the folder «<Documents>\VTC.World» it is necessary to create a subfolder «gearbox». It contains subfolders «ets2» and «ats» for «Euro Truck Simulator 2» and «American Truck Simulator» respectively.
2. Copy your configuration files «gearbox_*. sii» to the folder for the desired game. For example, for ETS2 it is a folder«<Documents>\VTC.World\gearbetox\ets2».
3. Launch the VTC.World client.
4. The configuration files will be automatically copied to the WTCWorld profile folder.
