Амфитеатр Эстли / The Astley’s amphitheatre

Акробаты, клоуны и дрессированные звери существовали с незапамятных времен. Но только англичанин Филип Эстли додумался до того, что удобнее всего демонстрировать трюки на скачущей лошади на круглой сцене, и вот 9 января в 1768 году в Лондоне состоялось представление, которое положило начало цирку в его современном виде. Публика, ради интереса, пришла посмотреть, как бывший кавалерист жонглирует саблей, упираясь одной ногой в седло, а другой в лошадиную голову. Это представление пришлось настолько по душе зрителям, что Эстли пригласил других трюкачей, нанял клоунов и музыкантов, поставил над ареной крышу и основал первый вариант современного цирка, который был назван «Амфитеатр Эстли». На данный момент амфитеатр основаный легендарным Эстли требует ремонта и реставрации, и в первую очередь требуется очень много бруса, для поддержания крыши и замены пришедшего в негодность бруса в стенах амфитеатра. Компания SanBuilders, занимающаяся строительством и реставрацией зданий, заказала партию бруса из хвойных пород деревьев из города Луга, и обратились к логистам VTCW с просьбой организовать своевременную доставку бруса в достаточном количестве.

Acrobats, clowns and trained animals have existed since immemorial time. But only Englishman Philip Astley figured out that demonstrating tricks on a galloping horse on a round stage is the most convenient way. And so, on January 9, 1768, a performance was held in London and it was the beginning of the circus in its modern form. For the interest the audience came to see how the former cavalryman juggles a saber while standing one foot on the saddle and the other on the horse's head. This performance became so popular with the audience that Astley invited other trickers, hired clowns and musicians. Then he put the roof over the arena and founded the first version of the modern circus whish was called «The Astley's amphitheatre». At the moment the amphitheatre founded by the legendary Astley requires repair and restoration. First of all, a lot of timber is required to maintain the roof and replace the fallen into disrepair timber in the walls of the amphitheatre. SanBuilders, a company engaged in the construction and restoration of buildings, ordered a batch of softwood timber from the Luga and asked VTCW logisticians to arrange timely delivery of timber in sufficient quantity.
