Мало, кто знает, что азот по важности для человека занимает третье место, после кислорода и водорода. Во-первых, потому что газ является главной составляющей атмосферного воздуха (в пределах 75% всего объема). И во-вторых, азот широко используется во многих сферах деятельности человека, начиная от медицины и заканчивая производством взрывчатых устройств. Не случайно в 1992 году авторитетное издание Science присудило оксиду азота (NO) почетную премию «Молекула года».
Азот или Nitrogenium — это инертный двухатомный газ без цвета, вкуса и запаха: его невозможно увидеть, если газ не заморожен и не сжижен.
Область применения азота очень широка. Его используют в целлюлозно-бумажной промышленности, пищевом производстве, СТО, электронике, агропромышленном секторе, медицине и фармацевтике, горно-добывающей промышленности, лазерной резки металлов, а так же в нефтегазовой и химической промышленности.

A few people know that nitrogen is the third most important element for human beings, after oxygen and hydrogen. Firstly, because this gas is the main component of atmospheric air (within 75% of the total volume). And secondly, nitrogen is widely used in many areas of human activity, ranging from medicine to the production of explosive devices. It is no coincidence that in 1992 the authoritary journal Science awarded nitrogen oxide (NO) the honorary «The molecule of the Year» award.
Nitrogen is an inert diatomic gas without color, taste or smell. It cannot be seen unless it is frozen and liquefied.
The scope of application of nitrogen is very wide. It is used in the pulp and paper industry, food production, service stations, electronics, agro-industrial sector, medicine and pharmaceuticals, mining, laser cutting of metals, as well as in the oil and gas and chemical industries.
